The Church announced-according to the same site-for the establishment of a large number of field hospitals inside the churches around Al-Ittihadiya Palace for aid and treatment of the injured of the clashes.
The website said that a number of Coptic movements attacked the President Mohamed Morsy. Meanwhile the “Coalition of the Copts of Egypt” called for the fall of the legitimacy of the president, and called upon the Egyptian people to rally in squares to demand the downfall of the president and his group, according to a statement by the coalition.
The “Coalition of the Copts of Egypt” announced its agreement to accept a civil military presidential council to rule the country for a year, a constitution fitting for Egypt, and legitimate elections under the supervision of the Egyptian judiciary for Egypt to return to desired stability, according to this claim.
Hany Al-Gizeezy, the founder of the Movement of the Copts on behalf of Egypt, in a statement to Hamdeen Sabahy, founder of the Popular Current, blamed him for the clashes that occur in Egypt now, because he has not called for the downfall of President Morsy and ousted him from his post of president of the republic, he said.
